Dr. Weil has been active in local and national dental and oral and maxillofacial surgery associations and is a past president of the Texas, Houston and Southwest Societies of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He has lectured locally and nationally on a number of topics related to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Weil is a former examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the certifying board for the specialty. Dr. Weil is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
